Hotel for Marijuana Usage to Debut in Las Vegas in April 2023

Las Vegas marijuana consumption hotel to open spring 2023

After the tourist mecca of Las Vegas legalized cannabis use lounges last year, a cannabis-friendly hotel is set to debut this spring.

In 2022, the hotel was purchased by Elevations Hotels and Resorts (then known as Pro Hospitality Group) of Phoenix for an estimated $11.9 million.

As part of its transformation into “The Lexi,” the 64-room hotel will have “an entire fourth level that will be designated cannabis-friendly,” according to a press release.

According to Las Vegas Review-Journal quotes from Elevations President and CEO Alex Rizk, the company has spent more than $15 million on the hotel.

Elevations is a membership rewards program that will include the Lexi for “individuals with a travel mindset, cannabis excitement, and appetite for new experiences.”

The Clarendon Hotel in Phoenix, one of Elevations’ other Arizona properties, allows guests to use cannabis.

According to what Rizk told the Review-Journal, Elevations is planning a move to the Golden State.

After Nevada legislators legalized cannabis consumption lounges in 2021, the Las Vegas City Council approved them in September 2022.
