“True Story is partly fictitious, but Hart’s real life has not lacked for drama,” it says in Hart’s bio. He was in a serious vehicle accident only two years ago, and his spinal problems required surgery and rehabilitation; he now describes himself as “completely different.” And it’s been over three years since he quit as Oscars host because of homophobic backlash to his previous remarks.
