Two Marijuana Enterprises in Morenci Were Punished for Their 2021 Financial Accounts!

Two Morenci businesses with both adult-use and medicinal licenses have been the subject of formal complaints and disciplinary action from the Cannabis Regulation Agency of Michigan.

According to a consent order and official complaint filed in January by the CRA, Living Well Labs LLC was penalized $10,000 for failing to submit its 2021 financial statement by the March 31, 2022 deadline.

A statement from the marijuana farmer was submitted on June 1, 2022, as reported in a press release from the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs.

In addition, Morenci Brothers Holding Group LLC was hit with a $10,000 punishment in January for failing to submit its 2020 fiscal year-end financial statement to the CRA by the June 30 deadline.

A consent order and official complaint issued by the CRA on October 14, 2021, said that the marijuana producer for adult use had submitted the statement on that date.

To the public, they are known as Jade Collection of Morenci, while the company behind them is called Living Well Labs. Cloud Cannabis Co. is a trading name of Morenci Brothers Holding Group.

The dispensaries in Morenci had their lawyers sign consent orders accepting the CRA’s conditions. In late December, an attorney representing Living Well Labs executed a cooperation order with the CRA. In early January, the CRA’s consent order was signed by the law firm of Morenci Brothers.
