One possible location for New Jersey’s first lounge serving recreational marijuana users is in Atlantic City. A 10,000-square-foot cannabis dispensary and lounge, now called High Rollers Dispensary, is planned for the ground floor of the Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City.
The plan was just approved by the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority. According to the plan, those above the age of 21 would be allowed to use marijuana there. This permission comes with a catch, though.
the hotel must provide security personnel in the mornings before the lounge opens to help manage any lines that may form. And the state’s Cannabis Regulation Commission has to give its stamp of approval before construction can begin.
