Police discovered a marijuana operation in the home of the man who is accused of shooting an Asian business in Evendale. He is also charged with narcotics offenses. An affidavit claims that during a search request, police discovered more than 40,000 grams of marijuana in the residence of Daniel Beckford, 33.
Police said that after entering the house, they discovered an “advanced grow operation” there, complete with marijuana plants spread throughout various rooms and processing and packaging machinery. According to Evendale police, Beckjord also faces multiple felonious assault charges after admitting to firing at Tokyo Oriental Food Shop while people were inside.
The 33-year-old is also accused of drug possession, as well as the unauthorized production and cultivation of substances, in addition to violent offenses. He’s scheduled to show up in Hamilton County Court on Tuesday morning.
