Adults can use marijuana for recreational purposes in Missouri. Adults in the state will soon be able to purchase marijuana for personal use, and some may even be able to grow their own. More information about what will be required to apply for a personal cultivation card was posted by Missouri.
The Missouri Department of Health and Human Services posted a sample of the application on Saturday even though it won’t start accepting applications until February 6. The form must be completed by anyone who wants to be granted a personal cultivation card.
It requests details like your name, address, social security number, and date of birth. Additionally, candidates must be at least 21 years old, provide two government-issued photo IDs (such as a driver’s license and a passport), pay a $100 application fee, and provide a recently taken color photo.
In addition to providing personal information, applicants must attest that the location of the Marijuana cultivation will be in a locked space with access restricted to only the cardholder. If requested, the applicant must consent to grant immediate access to any representative of the Missouri Department of Health and Human Services.
The holder of a personal cultivation card is permitted to grow up to six flowering marijuana plants, six nonflowering marijuana plants (those that are over 14 inches tall), and six clones (those that are shorter than 14 inches tall) for non-commercial purposes.
Even if two people live in the same home or apartment, they are not permitted to share Marijuana that has been grown for personal use. Everybody needs their own license. Once more, on February 6, the state will start accepting applications for personal grow cards. On that day, adults in Missouri should be able to purchase marijuana and items containing the drug from dispensaries approved to sell it for recreational purposes.
