Firefighters Fight a Fire At An Oklahoma Marijuana Cultivation Facility!

At a medical marijuana cultivation plant in a hamlet in Oklahoma, firefighters fought a significant fire. Firefighters responded to a probable fire at a marijuana growing operation along N. Main Street in downtown Tonkawa at around 9:30 a.m. on Thursday.

North of Oklahoma City, Tonkawa is about an hour and a half away. According to officials speaking to KFOR, other downtown businesses were given shelter in place while individuals who live close to the grow operation were evacuated.

According to officials speaking to KFOR, other downtown businesses were given shelter in place while individuals who live close to the grow operation were evacuated. One firefighter was examined and released from a nearby hospital after receiving minor injuries.

To assist in putting out the fire, other organizations from the vicinity pitched in. Although no foul play is now believed to have occurred, authorities are still looking into what transpired.
