Virgin Radio presenter Chris Evans is the latest celebrity to praise CBD oil after turning to the treatment following a history of shoulder pain.
The DJ told his army of listeners about the chronic
pain he has suffered which often kept him awake at night, before explaining
that he had, the previous evening, taken cannabis oil which he bought over the
counter at his local chemist.
“So, this morning I woke up, I always have a dodgy right
shoulder and I’ve never talked about it before,” he began.
“It’s not a big deal but I do have a stiff right shoulder and I can barely move it in the mornings.
“I have to do all these exercises backwards and forth including windmills. Then I get on the motorbike - because that’s the hand you turn the accelerator with on your handlebars – and I can feel it all the way in.”
Despite physiotherapy, the popular host had been unable to fix
the pain with any successful treatment. But, to his surprise, after taking CBD
to help him sleep, he awoke to a revelation.
“This morning, nothing. Nothing at all. Nothing!” added the 53-year-old.
“I
can’t believe it. It’s not clicking or anything.
“This could be a coincidence but every day for three years,
every morning, no matter where we are in the world or what time of day I get
up, I could barely move my shoulder. What is that about?
“Go out there, investigate it. It’s part of this thing called
micro-dosing. It may well be the future.”
